Q: I’m always reading articles about the danger of getting into mini-cabs, how can I be certain of my safety when using your services

A: At Green Miles Executive Chauffeur Services, all our drivers are registered with the Public Carriage Office and  therefore are legal executive ‘Mini-Cab drivers’. Each driver has undergone an application process together with  having their CRB check to view their suitability of carrying Passengers on an day to day basis. Please be assured that all our drivers have been issued with a personal identity number which can be checked and verified on the P ublic Carriage Office Website for legitimacy.

Q: Does Green Miles Executive Chauffeurs provide pickup and drop off to the airports?

A: Yes, Green Miles Executive Chauffeurs is a leading company providing pickup and drop off to/from any UK  Airport and specialise for the large groups and supply various of MPV’s ( Multi-Purpose Vehicles ) .
 

Q: Are Children classed as passengers?

A:
Yes, as for insurance purposes a child is classed as one (1) Passenger.
 

Q: How many people are allowed to travel in green Miles Executive Chauffeurs Saloon Vehicle?

A: Saloon Vehicle = 5 (including Driver)

Q: Are you Drivers and Vehicles fully insured?

A: Yes, all drivers and vehicles are fully insured and regulated by the Public Carriage office.

Q: On my last visit to London I was overcharged by the taxi driver due to being stuck in a traffic jam,  How are you’re your prices set?

A: Green Miles Executive Chauffeur services prices are set from the outset by contacting the office. All prices are quoted before the journey and are fixed ( except tolls, tips and parking at airports car park )

Q: what information do I need when making a car booking?

A: you will be asked to supply the following:

    # Name

    # Date and Time of Pick-up (using 24 hour Clock)

    # Pick-up address, including postcodes

    # Destination, including postcode

    # Flight Number, if applicable

    # Contact telephone number(s)

    # Email address

    # Payment methods

Q: Will I get a confirmation of my booking?

A: Yes, GMECS will email you confirmation of your booking for your records. Any alterations may be emailed  or made over the phone. Please contact GMECS if you don’t receive your confirmation within 30mins of making your booking.

Q: How much notice should I give for an email booking?

A: it is preferable to give at least 24hrs notice, however during office hours an attempt is made to reply within 2 hours. Passengers in doubt as to whether their email has been received and acted upon should call the office to check that the booking is in place.

 
Q: How do I identify my driver at the airport?

A: GMECS drivers use a very distinctive and clearly visible ‘Green Miles Executive Chauffeurs Services’ board, on which your name will be clearly written.


Q: What do I do if I cannot find my drivers?

A: Always carry a note of our number ( +44 (0)20 8898 9988 ) and call immediately, at the collection time and place, if the chauffeur cannot be seen.

 
Q: How do I pay for my journey?

A: You can either pay cash, debit card or credit card to the driver or you may contact GMECS yourself and pay by Credit card before your journey.


Q: What will happen if our flight gets delayed?

A: We monitor all incoming flights. So it does not matter how delayed your flight is, or how early it is, there  will be a driver waiting for you.
